Default Rend Enchantments

Hey All, I've got a quick question about Rend Enchantments. I go through a bunch of threads, and every so often I see Rend Echantements in a build or hear how that one spell is what makes a secondary Necro profession viable. Rend Enchantments takes away 2-8 enchanments, but at the cost of 40 hp per enchantment...I can definitely see the benefits of the removal of 2-8 enchantments, but isn't 40 hp per simply too much? So my question is, how do players counter the hp cost, do they rely on a monk to heal them after it's cast? Fill me in on what I'm missing...and thx!

Personally with my Ranger/Necro I just pop Troll Urg. and then Rend Ench. Then I don't have to worry or stress out my monk too much.

Thx for the reply, Fye...I thought of that as well...of course if they have a lot of enchantments, then it gets a bit too hefty that Troll can't even make up...but out of curiosity, about average, how many enchantments do you typically remove with Rend Enchants?
